To test a live demo of software on WordPress, just register a free account on the VideoChat Scripts site and use the widget link from the right to start broadcasting.

Integration uses the WordPress username to login existing users to broadcasting interface. If the user is not logged into WordPress a warning message is shown and the visitor can click that to get back to the main WordPress website for registration/login. We also included a plugin that provides a linking widget. The widget also displays online broadcasters and their show names.

Latest version includes a settings page linked both from Plugins page > VideoWhisper Live Streaming > Settings and Left menu > Settings > Video Streaming menu.

Installation Instructions for Live Streaming Plugin

Before installing, make sure your hosting environment meets all requirements.

If you’re not hosting RTMP with us go to RTMP Application Setup for installation details.
Download latest WordPress PHP + Widget Plugin zip version and copy the files from the zip file including folder structure to your wordpress plugings folder: you should obtain wp-content/plugins/videowhisper-live-streaming-integration .
Enable the plugin from Wordpress admin area and fill the settings, including rtmp address there.
From wordpress admin, enable the plugin and link widget or directly add the link to the wp-content/plugins/videowhisper-live-streaming-integration/ls folder. A shorter url can be defined with mod rewrite.

Updates should be automated from wordpress admin, as published trough wordpress repository.

The wordpress integration is based on a slightly modified php live video streaming edition so you can also check that for customizing settings, integration and implementation of other features.

Broadcasters can click webcam previw to select webcam and microphone hardware, configure bandwidth, compression and other settings. Broadcasters can publish show titles realtime (that show both on watch and video interfaces) and kick watchers.

Live Broadcast

Blog visitors will be able to participate in chat by providing a temporary username right in the chat application. Blog users will participate with their usernames if logged in. When a broadcaster joins watch interface, an @ is added to username to allow 2 sessions connected at the same time.
